When you are making your buying decision, you must ask the following questions: 

Is it Legal? With the withdrawal of PEFC and FSC from Russia due to the Ukraine war, it is difficult to buy legally sourced material out of Russia. Meyer Timber® has made the difficult decision to suspend the purchase of any LVL with Larch veneer procured post 2nd March 2022.

Does it Comply? To be suitable for use under the NCC (National Construction Code) and accepted by building surveyors/certifiers your LVL needs to comply to AS/NZS 4357.0. This is the Australian Standard which is referenced by the NCC via AS 1720.1. LVL manufactured to AS/NZS 4357.0 needs to be branded correctly, including the preservative treatment.

An example of meySPAN13 correct branding is: meySPAN13, AS/NZS4357.0, A-BOND, E0, 099 75 H2-SG, Mill 498, 22-06-01, 15:11. 

In addition, it requires certification by an accreditation body or a qualified engineer, along with a quality assurance scheme and continual verification of properties.

Perfect for critical walls and providing faster pre-sheet check. meyWALL is equivalent to MGP10 in all wall applications and comes H2S Termite Treated finished with a Weather Shield coating.
